Summer Wedding in the Atrium Room | Crowne Plaza Hotel Warwick RI

Bonnie and Mike’s July Wedding in Narragansett and Warwick, Rhode Island

I photographed Bonnie and Mike’s engagement session in the summer and since then, I’d impatiently waited for their wedding day in July. I met up with Bonnie at her hotel where she was getting ready for her wedding with her bridesmaids and family. I always love photographing the bride getting ready because I find it’s the time I get the best candid shots of everyone just relaxing and enjoying one another.

They were married in front of friends and family at the gazebo across from Narragansett beach, in front of the iconic towers. It was sweltering, but with all the love in the air and the breeze blowing in off the Atlantic Ocean, no one noticed the heat!

After their wedding, we all travelled back to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, RI. This couple made my photographer’s heart happy by booking their reception in the hotel’s immaculate Atrium Ballroom. With its white brick wall, glass ceiling and starburst light fixtures, the Atrium is an absolute delight to work in. Given that these two had a brunch wedding, I had beautiful sunlight streaming in all celebration long! It was a great day for a wedding, but then again - what day isn’t?
