Planning for your second wedding
When planning for your second wedding, there are many traditional rules that can be thrown out the door, simply because you’ve done it all before. When you’re planning to go down the aisle for another time, you have a chance to bring back all the ideas you wanted the first time but were never able to make a reality because of budget or family constraints.
Here are three things you can do to make your second wedding special:
Rethink the traditional roles
Make the wedding as lavish or as simple as you want
Do all the things you wanted but couldn’t do before!
One of my favorite couples this year were married way back in May, and I just realized I never shared any images from their awesome wedding day.
Maryann and Gary found me via The Original Wedding Expo held at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln. Gary actually found me first and dragged Maryann over to come meet me! We hit it off immediately. I love everything about these two. Actually when I grow up, I want to be both of them. They are both hip, smart and incredibly personable.
Gary and Maryann got ready at their home in Webster, MA, were married at their church in Oxford, MA and held their reception back in Webster. For all you brides and grooms looking a photographer who travels with no additional fee* look no further than me! (that rhymed!)
It was no wonder that during their engagement session photographed earlier on in the year, we were all in stitches the entire, even as we froze our butts off in Downtown Providence. Their wedding day was filled with all their friends and loved ones - all of whom turned out to be wonderful extensions of them. Everyone was laughing and dancing and just having a great time.
Good luck to Gary and Maryann as they step out together into the next joyful phase of their lives!
