Engagement Pictures at The Smith Appleby House
An Engagement Session at the Smith Appleby House in Smithfield, RI
I have the distinct pleasure of photographing Erin and Meaghan at the Smith Appleby House in Smithfield. I’ve driven by this location at least a few hundred times as a Smithfield Resident and this was the first time I’d ever visited it. Needless to say, I was dumbstruck at how beautiful it was. The English flower gardens and view of Georgiaville Pond behind the grove of trees was simply idyllic. We walked all around the property braving nature. If you know me, you know that nature and I have a very delicate relationship. As long as bugs (OF ANY SORT) don’t come close to me, I promise to be a normal functioning human and not lose my mind. This day was a good day!
Spending time with Erin and Meaghan was a giggle fest the entire time as well. I met them at The Original Wedding Expo held in Lincoln RI this past January. I have to say, it was “Laughter at first sight” with these two beautiful women. We spent an inordinate amount of time laughing at ourselves.
I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year. They are going to be getting married in Sturbridge at the Barn at Wight Farm. It’s going to be a blast and I expect we’ll be laughing the entire day together!
This summer, I’m going to be holding a spate of mini-session marathons across RI, MA and CT. I’m definitely making The Smith Appleby House one of my locations. Secure your session now and come see why I’m so taken with this location. I’m looking forward to making some images with you!
Cheers!
